Privacy Policy

Dad, I'm Bored ("the app," "we," "us") is operated by XM Ai LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. The app is designed to be set up and operated by a parent or guardian.

What we collect

• Account info — your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google or Apple. Used to create and secure your account so your library follows you across devices.
• Your children's basic info — the first name and birthdate you enter for each child. The birthdate is used only to calculate an age so activities are age-appropriate; we do not ask for or store any other information about children.
• Your activity library ("Plays") — the activities you add, edit, or select, and which ones were suggested, chosen, or completed. Used to run the app and suggest better activities.
• Photos you choose to submit — if you use the "add from photo" feature, the image is sent to our processing service and to our AI provider to suggest activities based on what's visible. Photos are processed transiently to generate suggestions and are not stored by the app.

We do not show ads, and we do not use third-party advertising or analytics / tracking tools.

How we use it

To provide and secure the app: authenticate you, store your family's activity library, tailor age-appropriate suggestions, and generate activity ideas from photos you submit.

Service providers we share with

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles sign-in and accounts.
• Anthropic — processes photos you submit to generate activity suggestions.
• Google / Apple — only if you choose "Sign in with Google/Apple," to authenticate you.

These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the features above. We do not sell personal information.

Children's privacy

The app is intended for use by a parent or guardian, who is the account holder. The only children's data in the app is the first name and birthdate a parent chooses to enter about their own child, used solely to tailor age-appropriate activities. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and we do not use children's data for advertising or profiling.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (parent settings → delete account). You can also contact us at alharris603@gmail.com to access or delete your data and we will process the request.

Changes

We'll update this policy as the app evolves and revise the "Last updated" date above.
